It is what needed to happen for the Heat to stop the rising momentum of the Dallas Mavericks. Chris Bosh needed to step up and prove he is worthy to be the third puzzle piece in the Heat’s Big Three. Sunday night, that is just what he did, Bosh scored the winning shot in what some may say was a must win game for the Heat. The winner of Game 3 in the NBA finals in the 2-3-2 format has gone on to win the championship 11 times. It doesn’t matter that Bosh scored a measly 12 pts in the game 2 loss at home against Dallas. It doesn’t matter that Bosh has been notoriously criticized for being “soft” by fans and media alike. His rumored crying earlier in the season after a devastating loss makes me think of one thing:”There is no crying in basketball”. But, tonight, on this balmy, summer night, Bosh was the hero.
Dallas fans should not head for the bridge just yet, Nowitzki will have another shot at the game winner, and he just might make it.
